How much does it cost?

The cost of renting a heavy-duty tractor could vary based on things such as duration of rental and type of vehicle, however, we have standard rates published for standard short-term rental and mileage.

Our rental week is based on a 5-day rental week. This means if someone keeps our truck(s) for 7 consecutive days, they will get the weekend for no additional fixed charge.

A rental day starts at 8 a.m. and concludes at 5 p.m.

Daily Weekly Per Mile
Day Cab $180 $900 $0.16

Billing

FSL will bill all rental customers on a weekly basis. All billing will occur every Wednesday. All mileage on vehicles rented on a long-term basis are to be reported to the sales coordinator no later than 5 p.m. every Tuesday which allows time for the proper and timely billing to our customers the next day. If mileage cannot be pulled through Detroit Connect, customer will need to provide. If not provided FSL will prorate mileage based on average usage without prior approval.

Fuel

All vehicles should be rented with full fuel tanks and returned with full fuel tanks. If a tractor is rented with a tank that is less than full then the Unit should be returned with the same amount. The amount of fuel will be listed on the Short Term Lease Agreement.

Any fuel or fluid (DEF) that FSL must provide as a result of failure to adhere to the fueling requirements will be charged at $6.50 per gallon.
