Four Star Breaks Ground On New Valdosta Dealership

Four Star Freightliner, the Southeast region’s leading heavy and medium duty truck dealer, recently broke ground on a new facility in Valdosta, Ga.

Construction on the new building is tentatively scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2018. All sales and service operations will move from the current location at 1527 Madison Highway to the new location at 3550 White Water Road.

Four Star Freightliner is investing $3.5 million into the new building, which will be 25,000 square feet. The company will retain its 18 employees from the current location and could add another 10-15 team members.

Jerry Kocan, Four Star Freightliner Dealer Principal, recognized the employees and the people of Valdosta during the groundbreaking ceremony.

“We want to honor all of the hard work by the people who have helped us reach this point,” he said. “We are making a major investment in Valdosta and the Lowndes County community and we intend to be here for many years to come.”
