Four Star Holds Community-Wide Food Drive to Help Fight Hunger

Feb. 26 2025 Latest By Four Star Freightliner

At Four Star Freightliner, celebrating 25 years in business meant more than just looking back at our accomplishments. It meant giving back to the communities that have supported us along the way. As part of our milestone anniversary, all seven of our locations came together for a special community service project: a food drive to help fight hunger and food insecurity in the areas we serve.

Thanks to the generosity and teamwork of our employees, customers, and community partners, we were able to donate an incredible 2,705 pounds of non-perishable food to local food banks—that’s more than a ton of food!

The idea for the food drive came from our Human Resources Director, Suzy Herring, who saw the perfect opportunity to pair our anniversary celebration with a meaningful cause. She wanted to do something that would make a direct impact on the communities where we live and work, while honoring our company's milestone and the mission of Four Star.

Each of our seven locations took part in the food drive, setting up collection points and encouraging donations. The response was overwhelming, and the success of the food drive reinforced what we’ve always known and that is when we come together, we can make a difference.

Giving back has always been a core value at Four Star Freightliner, and we’re proud to continue that tradition as we move forward into the next 25 years. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this initiative. Your support helps make our communities stronger, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
