Ingram & Morrison win top sales awards
Truman Ingram, Four Star Freightliner utility & municipal account manager, has been named an Elite Trip Winner in the Leland James Sales Achievement Program for the sixth consecutive year.
This program, named after the founder of Freightliner, recognizes the best sales representatives and managers in the Freightliner Dealer Network. The awards are based on the amount of units sold.
Ingram, who has been an account manager at Four Star Freightliner for more than ten years and works from the Montgomery, Ala. location, was one of only 31 other Elite ‘Trip’ Winners in North America who were recognized for their sale excellence, customer service and industry leadership.
"I could not be more proud of Truman," said Jerry Kocan, Four Star Freightliner Dealer Principal. "He has turned himself into the industry’s best because of his hard work and determination. He is a consummate professional and am honored to have him as part of the team. He also has a tremendous team of supporters at home as well who keep him motivated including his wife Claire and their three daughters."
Ingram and his wife will travel to the Boca Beach Club in Boca Raton, Fla. for a special recognition trip next year.
Four Star Freightliner also had another one of its sales professionals to be recognized in the Leland James Sales Achievement Program. Jay Morrison, who works primarily out of the Dothan, Ala. location, is Four Star Freightliner's Western Star Brand Manager. He also sells new and used trucks. He was named an Elite Award Winner for the second consecutive year.
"Jay has never had a bad day and lifts up all of those around him," Kocan said. "He has really energized our sales team and he treats his customers like family. He turned himself into a first class sales professional and am proud to have him and his wife Frannie as part of the Four Star Family. This is Jay’s second Leland James Award and I don’t think it will be his last."
Morrison will receive a custom plaque as token of appreciation for his excellent sales efforts.
Created in 2003 and named after Freightliner Trucks’ founder Leland James, the Leland James Sales Achievement Program recognizes and rewards outstanding sales professionals from dealerships in the United States and Canada.
