Kelly Hammon Named Four Star Freightliner Employee Of The Year

Four Star Freightliner named its Employee of Year during its Year End Employee Celebration held at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort on Dec. 10, 2016.

Kelly Hammon, who will begin her seventh year with Four Star Freightliner in February, is the service advisor at the Dothan, Ala. dealership located at 1507 Reeves Street. She was initially hired as the parts warehouse manager and local parts delivery driver. Her drive and dedication led to her being noticed by service manager Cindy Mathews.  In 2014, she accepted the position as service advisor.

"When Kelly first started working in the parts department, I saw the way she interacted with customers," said Mathews. "The customers liked her and she had a lot of patience. I felt this was a good trait to have in a service advisor. This was one of the best decisions I have made."

Dealer principal Jerry Kocan describes Hammon as a Four Star Freightliner “true success story”.
“She took a physically demanding job to start out with (warehouse manager) and never missed a beat,” Kocan said. “Her smile and positive mental attitude is infectious and it positively affects everyone she meets.  “We get regular customer compliments about how Kelly has helped them and how they love her.  I am very proud that she is Four Star Freightliner's 2016 Employee of the Year."

Hammon said she is grateful for the award and calls it an “absolute honor”.

“I am very grateful for the journey I have been on and I am looking forward to what lies ahead,” said Hammon. “I owe many thanks to those who took the time to sow into my life and give me the opportunity to move forward.”
